Riko Debenjak (1908 - 1987)
The Slovenian academic painter Riko Debenjak finished the Art School of Beograd in 1937, and afterwards he also did an academic painting course. During his journeys throughout Europe, he improved his drawings, and later on also his graphics. He participated at all the most important exhibitions not only in Slovenia, but also in the neighbouring countries, and later on he exhibited his works abroad as well. He received many awards, among which the most important ones are:
